Measuring epitaxial graphene nanoribbons with low-frequency alternating current

چکیده
We have demonstrated the fabrication of both armchair and zigzag epitaxial graphene nanoribbon (GNR) devices on 4H–SiC using a polymer-assisted sublimation growth method. The phenomenon terrace step formation has traditionally introduced risk GNR deformation along sidewalls, but method helps mitigate this risk. Each type 50 nm wide is examined electrically optically (armchair zigzag), with latter being check quality former alternating current to investigate resistance attenuation from frequencies above 100 Hz. Rates are determined for each device, revealing subtle suggested differences between GNRs.

Magnetoplasmons in quasineutral epitaxial graphene nanoribbons.
We present an infrared transmission spectroscopy study of the inter-Landau-level excitations in quasineutral epitaxial graphene nanoribbon arrays. We observed a substantial deviation in energy of the L(0(-1)) → L(1(0)) transition from the characteristic square root magnetic-field dependence of two-dimensional graphene. This deviation arises from the formation of an upper-hybrid mode between the...
متن کاملCurrent-induced runaway vibrations in dehydrogenated graphene nanoribbons
We employ a semi-classical Langevin approach to study current-induced atomic dynamics in a partially dehydrogenated armchair graphene nanoribbon. All parameters are obtained from density functional theory. The dehydrogenated carbon dimers behave as effective impurities, whose motion decouples from the rest of carbon atoms. The electrical current can couple the dimer motion in a coherent fashion...

Graphene is determined by a wonderful carrier transport property and high sensitivityat the surface of a single molecule, making them great as resources used in Nano electronic use.TGN is modeled in form of three honeycomb lattices with pairs of in-equivalent sites as {A1, B1},{A2, B2}, and {A3, B3} which are located in the top, center and bottom layers, respectively. Trilayer...
متن کاملThermally limited current carrying ability of graphene nanoribbons.
We investigate high-field transport in graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) on SiO(2), up to breakdown. The maximum current density is limited by self-heating, but can reach >3 mA/μm for GNRs ~15 nm wide. Comparison with larger, micron-sized graphene devices reveals that narrow GNRs benefit from 3D heat spreading into the SiO(2), which enables their higher current density. GNRs also benefit from lateral...
متن کاملElectrical stimulation using kilohertz-frequency alternating current.
Transcutaneous electrical stimulation using kilohertz-frequency alternating current (AC) became popular in the 1950s with the introduction of "interferential currents," promoted as a means of producing depth-efficient stimulation of nerve and muscle. Later, "Russian current" was adopted as a means of muscle strengthening. This article reviews some clinically relevant, laboratory-based studies t...
